Good Sleep
Good sleep is a great goal.
Most people agree that sleeping is an important part of enjoying life. Studies show that good sleep can help you have more energy, feel more positive, look younger, and can help your brain function at its best!
While a comfortable mattress can help you get a good night's sleep, it's not the only factor involved.
Other things that can affect your quality of sleep include:
- Stress - Taking time to de-stress through deep breathing, meditation, and staying away from things that make you worry can help.
- Sleeping Environment - Sleeping in a cool, dark, quiet room has been shown to improve sleep.
- Eating before bed - Avoiding eating an hour or two before going to bed is a good practice for good sleep.
- Excercise - A regular exercise routing can help with stress and also make it easier to sleep better.
Of course there are many other things that can impact your sleep, but the four above are mostly under your control.
